Xerox Corp.’s DocuShare 4.0.1 software has been named “Best Document Manager” in InfoWorld magazine’s 2006 Technology of the Year awards.
DocuShare—a secure, Web-based enterprise content management system—was recognized for its ability to help workers better collaborate on projects and business processes. The magazine reported the system has a “strong mix of collaboration, personalization, ease-of-use and extensibility.”
Steve Fox, InfoWorld’s editor-in-chief, said in a statement that this year’s winners represent “the best products defining, and often redefining, the role of information technology and resulting business impact.”
DocuShare helps organizations boost business efficiency and manage requirements for regulatory compliance. It can be used with other Xerox products.
