Ellen Harris has joined Sage Group LLC of New York. She will be responsible for operations, human resources and quality assurance for the firm’s clients. Harris previously served as the New York divisional director of operations for Emeritus Assisted Living.

Environmental Design & Research, Landscape Architecture, Environ#Engineering and Surveying P.C. has hired Jane Rice as a planner. Rice brings seven years’ planning experience to the position.

Allendale Columbia School announces the following new faculty appointments: Claudia Reyda, part-time Spanish teacher in the language department; Aaron Shepard, fifth-grade language arts; Wil Turner, English teacher in the upper school and the advanced-placement literature section and junior varsity baseball assistant coach; Jenna Vetromile, part-time teacher in the art department; and Wendy Wegman, kindergarten teacher.

Karen Gaffney has joined Al Sigl Center as vice president of the Al Sigl Center Partners’ Foundation. Gaffney will be responsible for leadership and administration of the organization’s fundraising and grants to partner agencies. She most recently served as senior associate director of development for the University of Rochester Medical Center.

Stepping Stones Learning Center announces that Ray Glegg has joined the agency as director of human resources. Glegg brings more than 25 years’ experience to the position. He will be responsible for human resource activities associated with the company’s 160 staff members.

Linda Lewis and Kathleen Buffan have joined the staff of Amica Mutual Insurance Co.’s Rochester office as associate account representatives in the underwriting department. As account representatives, Carey Jackson and Mary Duggan have entered Amica’s account manager training program. Jennifer Cornelius has joined the firm as a technical assistant in the claims department. Patricia Brooks has been promoted to a supervising account representative in the underwriting department, while Mechelle Osterhout has been promoted to a senior account representative in the same department.

Parlec Inc. announces the hiring of Mark Naccarella as executive vice president. Naccarella brings more than 24 years of experience in operations management to the firm. He will be responsible for the enhancement of the firm’s global manufacturing and supply chain management processes, as well as streamlining the steps in new product development.

Buck & Pulleyn Inc. has named Kurt Jaeckel to lead its integrated service offerings. Jaeckel will provide strategic direction to the firm’s account service and creative teams, as well as lead the agency’s consultancy with select clients. He most recently was with Martino Flynn LLC.

Lee Hecht Harrison announces the promotion of Terri Zbick to senior vice president, professional services and operations in its Rochester office. In her new position, Zbick will be responsible for operations, staffing, quality and delivery of services. Zbick previously served as vice president of business development.

Craig Howard has been appointed director of the Canandaigua VA Medical Center. Howard is transferring from the VA Eastern Kansas Health Care System.

Nancy Williams has been appointed public relations manager for the Jewish Health Care System of Rochester. Williams will be responsible for supporting and implementing campuswide marketing initiatives, internal and external communications, newsletters, publications and all public relations activities. She previously served as director of communications for Career Development Services Inc.

Zotos International Inc. announces the addition of Harvey Cohen to its information technology staff as the IT site manager in Geneva.

Merzbach Law Office P.C. has hired David Cutitta as an associate attorney. Cutitta concentrates his practice in the areas of corporate and intellectual property law. He previously was an associate attorney in the technology and intellectual property department of Nixon Peabody LLP.

Mirror Show Management announces the following appointments: Ryan Hoban, design co-op; Vanessa Loftus, graphic designer; Eddie Lewis, warehouse specialist; Susan Murray, accounting manager; and Michael Murphy, warehouse specialist, quality control.

Shaun Buckley has joined the firm of JC Jones & Associates LLC as a consultant specializing in providing merger and acquisition services. Buckley brings more than 23 years’ experience in mergers and acquisitions and public accounting to the firm.

The Flanders Group announces the following appointments: Nancy Dehm, president and chief operating officer; Heather Dougherty, president, workers’ compensation division; Valarie Webster, vice president, agency relations; and Chris McVicker, chairman and CEO.

David Bovenzi has been promoted to vice president of the Bank of America Private Bank. Bovenzi joined Fleet Bank in 1995 and has been in the investment field since 1993.

Centra Financial Group Inc. has appointed Randall Brown as a financial planner. Brown brings more than 10 years’ financial services experience to the position.

Home Trends has hired Brandon Lown as production assistant. Lown will source product information for three national catalogs.

Flaherty Funding Corp. announces the addition of Tyler Spitz as closing coordinator. Spitz previously served as a real estate clerk with Harris Beach PLLC.

Davie Kaplan Chapman & Braverman P.C. announces the promotion of Louise McAfee to the position of manager. McAfee previously interned with the firm and most recently served as an accounting assistant.

LeChase Construction Services LLC announces the following changes in its finance department: Cindy Mull has been promoted to accounting manager and will manage payroll. Teresa Bondi, who recently joined the firm as an accounting assistant, will assist Mull. Rosemary Smith will manage accounts payables. She previously served as an account manager. Michele Metzger has moved into the position of financial analyst. She will work on special projects and provide financial analysis on a range of systems.
