Laurie Zaucha has been named vice president of compensation and benefits, corporate human resources, at Bausch & Lomb Inc. Zaucha will be responsible for strategy, design and management of global performance and reward systems, compensation programs, benefits, the global services program and human resources financial reporting.

Clough, Harbour & Associates LLP announces the following additions: Leah Shimko, engineer II in the firm’s environmental group; Jeff Shipley, business development manager; and Dean Steiner, senior survey technician in the firm’s survey group.

Mason Selkowitz McDermott Inc. announces the following new employees: Jeff Agnello, finance manager; Darlene Benzon, mechanical artist; Aubrey Huber, graphics coordinator; and Jeff Smith, interactive media designer.

PaeTec Corp. announces that Kurt Karshick has joined the company as a strategic communications specialist. Karshick brings more than 12 years’ technology sales and management experience to the position, and will develop and provide end-to-end data and telecommunications solutions to governmental institutions, businesses and corporations in the state.

The University of Rochester Eye Institute has hired John Meade as administrator for the department of ophthalmology at the University of Rochester Medical Center.

Integrated Cabling & Communication Systems has hired Steve Giliberti as a service technician and James McPhall as an installation technician. Giliberti will be responsible for day-to-day adds, moves and changes of data, voice, video and fiber-optic cabling infrastructures. McPhall will be responsible for the installation of access control and digital video surveillance systems.

Flaherty Funding Corp. has hired Julie Doyle, Angela Fitch and Michael Bates. Doyle and Fitch have been hired as loan officer assistants, while Bates will serve as finance and compliance administrator.

Partners + Napier Inc. announces the following appointments: Pam Beatty, Vine Design studio’s traffic/studio manager; Michelle Anlyn, Vine Design’s senior mechanical artist; and Katie Woodson, Vine Design’s art director.

DeJoy, Knauf & Blood LLP has hired David Goodfellow as a staff accountant and Samnang Pech as an experience accountant.

Tom Ammer has joined the firm of JC Jones & Associates LLC as a profit improvement and turnaround management consultant. Ammer brings more than 25 years’ experience in financial accounting and management to the role.

The National Kidney Foundation of Upstate New York announces that Joan Entwistle has joined the staff as education director. She brings 10 years’ experience in the nephrology field to the position.

Nazareth College of Rochester announces that Kelly Gagan has been appointed associate vice president of advancement and director of development. Gagan will be responsible for providing leadership for the development function of annual and planned giving, major gifts and corporate, foundation and government relations.

Lee Peekstok has joined Newtex Industries Inc. as vice president of technology and product development, while Peter Battisti has been hired as vice president of finance and chief financial officer.

Jeanine Frierson has joined Baldwin Richardson Foods Co. as sensory technologist. Frierson brings more than five years of sensory analyst-related experience to the position.

Advantage Professionals announces that Mark Spatuzzi has been promoted to division director of the firm’s financial permanent placement division. He has been with the company seven years.

Jeffrey Taylor has been named director of business career services at SUNY College at Brockport. Taylor previously served as an associate director at the career center at the University of Roch-ester. In his new role he will be responsible for employer outreach, developing recruiting programs, teaching career preparation courses and advising students regarding professional development.

Mengel, Metzger, Barr & Co. LLP announces that William Green Jr., Tanya Lomac and Kevin McPherson have been named managers in the Rochester office. Green will manage engagements, scheduling, staffing, training and developing staff. Lomac will supervise, organize and plan audits and related engagements, act as a client liaison and review work papers reports, tax returns and audit work papers. McPherson will prepare corporate and individual tax returns, provide tax planning and consulting and financial management and consulting.
