Knighthawks game to air on WRWB

Rochester Knighthawks fans will be able to watch the National Lacrosse League Champion’s Cup finals on WRWB-TV16 Saturday evening.
The Knighthawks will be the host for the championship game for the first time in eight years.
The local Warner Bros. affiliate will air the game against the Toronto Rock at 8:05 p.m. The Knighthawks advanced to the finals by defeating the Buffalo Bandits.
“We are very excited to bring this championship game to area sports fans,” said Tish Robinson, general manager of WRWB.
WRWB will broadcast the game as part of a combined schedule developed between the station and Time Warner Cable. The station has shown viewers eight home games this season.
