Centra Financial Group Inc. has appointed Andrew Marotta as an associate. Marotta, of Fairport, previously was a sales executive in the telecommunications industry.

Charis Lee M.D. has joined the medical staff of the new Easter Seals New York at Southview Commons. Lee, a member of the Linden Medical Group, previously served as chief resident for two years at Rochester General Hospital.

Christopher Bross has joined the Savings Bank of the Finger Lakes as branch manager of the Canandaigua office. Bross will be responsible for managing the branch and promoting business development.

The Arc of Monroe County announces the appointment of Kristine Snyder as development specialist. Snyder will be responsible for planning, implementing and evaluating special events, as well as developing annual fundraising strategies.

John Wenderlich has joined Bergmann Associates Inc. as business manager. Wenderlich brings 20 years of experience to the position in the areas of business development, finance, marketing and quality assurance.

DeJoy, Knauf & Blood LLP announces that Greg Marshall, Samnang Pech and Cassandra Chen have joined the firm as staff accountants.

Len DiSalvatore has been appointed associate at Financial Partners Group LLC. Previously, DiSalvatore worked as human resources manager at PriceWaterhouseCoopers LLP.

William Monte has been appointed sales vice president at Brokery Insurance Agency. Monte, who has 15 years of experience, will be working with independent brokers as well as clients.

Greg Weishaar has recently joined Pro-Tem Solutions, where he will be responsible for business development in the eastern and central regions. Weishaar brings five years of sales experience to the company.

Ajettix Inc. announces that Michelle DeMino has joined the company as an account executive. DeMino, who has more than seven years of experience in IT sales, will also work in business development.

Karpus Investment Management announces the hiring of Marijoyce Ryan as vice president of fiduciary services. Ryan will be responsible for directing the firm’s efforts in the design and service of employer retirement plans.

Jonathan Westfall has joined Curtis & Higgins LLC as creative director, new business development. Westfall, who will direct the firm’s creative group, will work with existing clients and pursue new business opportunities.

The Charter School of Science & Technology announces the following appointments: Andrew Lyle, principal, and Ellen Lewis, director of community partnerships and advancement. Lyle previously was director of operations for the eastern division of Edison Schools Inc., where he coordinated the operations of 18 schools. Lewis previously was director of agency advancement for Wilson Commencement Park. She will be responsible for increasing community involvement and support for the school.

Heidi Smith R.N. has been named director of nursing at Batavia Nursing Home LLC. Smith brings experience as a unit manager and quality assurance coordinator to the position.

Carrie Salo has joined Eric Mower and Associates as an assistant account executive in the agency’s public relations services group. Salo will assist in the development and execution of marketing public relations efforts for agency accounts in the Rochester office.

Charles Schwab & Co. Inc. has appointed Bruce Moar, of Pittsford, as an investment consultant for the Rochester branch. Moar previously was a vice president at Quick & Reilly/Fleet Securities, and brings 20 years of experience to the position.

DigiQuick Portrait Studios announces the following new staff members: Jeremy Hettman, photographer, Irondequoit; Dani Parsons, photographer, Henrietta; Dominika Glazek, photographer, Victor; Amanda Lents, photographer, Greece; and Sandie Lee, marketing, Irondequoit.

Matthew Garrity has become associated with Curtis and Higgins LLC as creative director for the firm’s key accounts portfolio.

EDS announces that Dieter Orth has been promoted to Europe, Middle East and Africa client delivery executive for the EDS/Xerox account. Orth, who joined EDS in 1985, previously held the position of European computer framework leader.

Ontario ARC announces the appointment of Terry Keller as placement specialist. Keller joins Brian Askin in the Abbey Assessment and Placement Services division of the ARC.

Kevin Hobert has joined Eastman Kodak Co.’s health imaging division as general manager of digital capture and clinical applications and divisional vice president.

Industry Analysts Inc. has named Andy Slawetsky vice president. Slawetsky will be responsible for establishing new strategic directions for the corporation and will serve as client liaison.

Stephen Butler has been appointed regional manager for Coldwell Banker Prime Properties’ Rochester office. Butler joins the firm after 15 years with Mitchell Pierson Jr. Inc. and is past chairman of Genesee Region Real Estate Services Inc.

Joseph Schroeder has been appointed director of brokerage sales for MedAmerica Insurance Co. and MedAmerica Insurance Co. of New York, based in Roch-ester. Schroeder has more than 15 years of long-term care insurance brokerage experience.

The Pike Company Inc., headquartered in Rochester, announces that Thomas Tripp has joined the firm as vice president and manager of its Buffalo office. Tripp, who brings 32 years of experience in the construction industry to the company, will be responsible for growing business for the Buffalo location.

Nick Paulus and Salley Thornton have joined the Greater Rochester Chapter of the American Red Cross in the organization’s marketing communications department. Paulus previously worked in television, Web development and print design and Thornton brings with her experience in newspaper, television and radio.

Mark McManus has joined Crosman Corp. as assistant product manager for the company’s Game Face Paintball product line. McManus will be responsible for new product development, product promotion and special events.

HR Works Inc. has hired Lisa Berg as a human resource specialist. Berg will be responsible for managing the recruitment of human resource professionals and generating employee benefit statements for clients.

Eugene Tonucci has been named chief financial officer of Pharos Systems. Tonucci joins the company after several years as an independent financial and business consultant. He brings more than 30 years of general and financial management experience to the position.
