Midtown bankruptcy sale set for Tuesday

The Midtown Plaza bankruptcy sale is slated for court authorization Tuesday. Attorneys for plaza owner Peter Arnold and lender Blackacre Bridge Capital LLC are to appear before U.S. Bankruptcy Court Judge John Ninfo II to officially sign off on a deal for Arnold to sell the financially troubled Midtown to Blackacre. Figures familiar with the case expect Blackacre to take over the 1 million-square-foot downtown office and retail complex by July.
