The law firm of Harter, Secrest & Emery LLP announces that Paul Pietropaoli joined the firm as an associate in the real estate practice group, finance and real property department. He has experience representing individuals, business entities, not-for-profit organizations and commercial lenders in connection with commercial and residential real estate transactions.
William May has joined AM&M Financial Services Inc. as tax manager. His responsibilities include reviewing and assisting with the preparation of clients’ tax returns. In addition, he works with AM&M financial planners throughout the year to monitor clients’ tax liabilities and address related issues, such as estate planning and gift tax concerns.
John Naim has been appointed director of the office for grants and research at ViaHealth. He will be responsible for the administrative, financial, regulatory and marketing performance of the office’s research activities, including the ViaHealth physician research network.
Karen Kelly has joined Archer Communications Inc. as senior account executive. In this capacity, she will concentrate on brand-building strategies, expanding business and overseeing accounts. She brings over 14 years of experience to the firm. Additionally, Susan Honohan has been promoted to account executive.
Choice One Communications Inc. has promoted Jim Phillips to director of technical services. He has been with the company since 1998.
Excellus Inc. has named Barbara Rothenberg health policy director. Her duties include performing environmental and economic analyses to assist the corporation in developing positions and policies concerning the organization, delivery and financing of health care.
Finger Lakes Regional Health System’s board of directors has recently elected Bruce Teague to its board for a five-year term. Teague has been with Henry-Shepard-Smith Inc. since 1973, and has acted as president since 1992. He is currently a director of the National Bank of Geneva, Geneva Growth Inc. and the National Intercollegiate Lacrosse Officials.
Synergy Inc. announces that Doug Gaudieri has joined the organization as an account manager focusing on sales of Hewlett-Packard and Oracle products throughout Upstate New York. In addition, Karin Wormley has joined the organization as an account manager focusing on sales of IBM products throughout Upstate New York.
David Halladay has been named chief financial officer for Extra Help Employment Services. Previously, Halladay had been employed with Concentrix Corp. of Rochester. Additionally, Gregory Fagen has been named business development manager. Previously, Fagen had been employed with Unisys Corp. of Farmington.
Premium Mortgage Corp. announces the addition of Sandy Pastore as mortgage consultant. She has over nine years of experience in the mortgage industry.
