Harris Interactive Inc. today signed an agreement with the Wall Street Journal to jointly develop Internet-based research such as new tracking polls on consumer behavior and business trends.
The market research firm will handle data collection and analysis for publication by the newspaper. Possible topics for the joint survey efforts include e-commerce executive recruitment, stock-purchase decisions and online finance.
In the past, the Wall Street Journal has provided regular coverage of the Harris/Fombrun Reputation Quotient study of corporate reputations.
“We have been very pleased with the results of our collaborations with Harris Interactive in the past, and believe this new effort will pay off dramatically to the benefit of our readers,” said Stephen Adler, deputy managing editor of the Wall Street Journal.
Harris Interactive (NASDAQ: HPOL) has more than 40 years experience in market research and polling services.
