Stewart to head Kodak
joint venture

Eastman Kodak Co. and its new partner in a global graphics-supply company today named a former Kodak Professional director of finance to lead the venture.
Mark Stewart–recently vice president of Kodak Professional, the company’s second-largest global business–will become CEO of the Kodak-Sun Chemical Corp. joint venture.
The new business, Kodak Polychrome Graphics, eventually will supply more than $1 billion in products and services, Kodak said.
Stewart, 46, also has served as senior vice president of Qualex, a wholesale photofinisher and Kodak subsidiary.
“Once company operations begin, Kodak Polychrome Graphics will offer customers one of the broadest portfolios of graphic-arts solutions available today, and will grow to become the digital solutions supplier of choice for customers around the world,” Stewart said.
Kodak also announced the appointments of several senior managers, including Robert Hallman, Polychrome president and CEO, and Michael Simmonds, general manager, Graphics Systems Markets and vice president of Kodak Professional Division, both of whom will be Kodak Polychrome Graphics senior vice presidents.
Stewart will report to a board of directors made up of three directors each from Kodak and from Sun Chemical.
