Bergmann Associates has announced the following staff additions: Deborah Guarnere, executive assistant; Laura Seeber, group secretary, site department; and Deanna Delaney, printing and distribution technician.

Genesee Country Museum has appointed Gail Schilling as associate director of development. Schilling brings to the position a strong background in corporate sales and marketing.

O’Brien & Gere Engineers has promoted Kevin Farmer P.E. to vice president. He joined the firm in 1978.

Bausch & Lomb Inc. announces the following appointments in its personal products division: Gary Aron, vice president-global scientific affairs; Robert Moore, president of the health care business unit; and Alan Farnsworth, president of the lens care business unit.

Crosman Corp. has made the following appointments: Troy Overholt, manager of occupational safety and health; Rufus Shaw, credit analyst; Patti Miller, senior accountant; and Peggy Ferran, manager of compensation and benefits.

Jones Chemicals Inc. has named James Hartman inside corporate counsel. He comes to the company from Harris, Beach & Wilcox.

Myers Community Hospital has announced that three ophthalmologists have joined the staff forming the Eye Center at Myers: Dr. Walter Muth, Dr. Mary Susan Napoleon and Dr. Richard Seeger.

Canandaigua National Bank & Trust Co. has promoted Robert Simpson to assistant vice president, finance, and Ruth Wakeman Schwingel to assistant auditor. Simpson joined the bank in 1987 and Schwingel in 1988.

Unimail Corp. announces the following promotions: David Drum Sr., executive vice president; Mel Sofia, vice president of operations; Thomas DePalma, vice president of sales and marketing; and Trish Hedeen, controller.

Joseph McCarthy has been promoted to associate professor of management at Keuka College. He is a 1988 graduate of St. John Fisher College.

Richard Mackey, the county’s director of human resources, has been named acting deputy county executive for Monroe County.

Paychex Inc. has appointed Richard Warshof director, new market operations. Before coming to Paychex, he was president of Rochester Community Savings Bank’s retail banking division.

Public Abstract Corp. has announced the following recent additions to its staff: Andrew Hagen, account executive of its Syracuse branch office, and Barb Carey, account executive of its Rochester corporate office. Hagen was formerly with Armory Title and Carey was with Independent Title Services.
