Jane Kriegler has joined the Epilepsy Foundation of America as the coordinator of the local affiliate’s TAPS (Training Applicants for Placement Success) program. TAPS represents a partnership between the National Epilepsy Foundation and its local affiliate, the Epilepsy Association of Greater Rochester.

Lori Micciche has been promoted to banking officer in the Rochester division of M&T Bank. She has been with the bank since 1990 as an assistant branch manager.

James Navarra has established a group pension office for the Union Central Life Insurance Co. in Rochester. As manager, he will cover the Albany, Buffalo, Rochester, Syracuse, northern New York and Southern Tier areas.

Maria Lustyk has been appointed customer sales manager at Greater Rochester Cablevision. Lustyk was most recently employed at Rochester Telephone Corp. as telemarketing manager.

Philip Yawman CSW(R) CAC ACSW has been named executive director of Threshold Center for Alternative Youth Services Inc. Before joining Threshold, he was director for the Daybreak Alcoholism Treatment Facility.

Joyce Esch has been named principal of the Eastern Monroe Career Center in Fairport. Esch served as SUNY College at Brockport’s Educational Opportunity Center director for the past two years and as assistant director of vocational education from 1988 to 1993.

Kodak Imaging Services Inc. has appointed Margaret Steinmeyer as director of strategic marketing and David Kassnoff as coordinator of communications and public relations. Steinmeyer’s background includes 10 years in the facilities management and outsourcing industry. Kassnoff has 10 years’ experience in marketing communications.

Elizabeth Brown has been named diocesan director of communications for the Roman Catholic Diocese of Rochester. Brown has been director of constituent relations/communications for the diocese since 1989.

Eastman Kodak Co. has appointed David FitzPatrick controller. He was formerly division chief financial officer of the Cadillac/Luxury Car Division of General Motors Corp.

Joyce Baroody has been named head of the public relations and advertising committee for Mitchell Pierson Jr. Inc. Realtors. She is a broker associate with the firm.

Barbara Jones has been named community investment segment manager for Chase Manhattan Bank N.A.’s upstate region. Jones is also a vice president of the bank.

Crestwood Children’s Center has promoted Amy Spitzer CSW to program director in the elementary day treatment program and Kate Buckley CSW to program director of the Center for Child and Family Therapy in Honeoye Falls.

Bausch & Lomb Inc. has announced the following appointments: William Carpenter, executive vice president and global business manager-eye-wear; Jay Holmes, executive vice president and chief administrative officer; and Stephen Hellrung, senior vice president, secretary and general counsel.

Lesley Gardiner has joined WXXI Public Broadcasting Council as auction/station events director. She brings to the position a wealth of experience with non-profit organizations.

Clifton Springs Hospital & Clinic has announced the following appointments: Corinne Averill, education coordinator; Helen King, education coordinator for the Residential Health Care Facility; and Terry Ovenshire, director of food services.

Rochester Colonial Manufacturing has named Stuart Axelrod manager of the commercial division. He will oversee the estimating and bidding on commercial contracts.
