James Marventano has joined Holotek Ltd. as materials manager. He will be responsible for the purchasing and material-control functions.

Peter Millock, general counsel to the New York State Department of Health, has joined the law firm of Nixon, Hargrave, Devans & Doyle as counsel in the firm’s health services group as of March 15. He has worked for the past 14 years as the Health Department’s general counsel.

General Signal Corp. has appointed Terence Martin executive vice president and chief financial officer replacing Stephen Nagy who is leaving the firm to pursue other opportunities. Martin comes to General Signal from American Cyanamid Co.

St. John Fisher College has announced the following new employees: Valerie Belleisle, payroll clerk; Jonathon Boon, assistant basketball coach; Scott Kelly, admissions counselor; Patricia Noakes, secretary; and Jennifer Vallee, registration coordinator for the Professional Development Office.

Atlantic Granite & Marble Inc. has promoted Kevin McGregor to sales associate and hired Julian Laskowycz as a sales associate. McGregor was formerly a sales representative and Laskowycz comes to Atlantic from Dobkin Tile Co. in Buffalo.

M&T Bank has announced the following appointments: Timothy Jones, promoted to assistant vice president in the commercial banking department; Judith Brown, promoted to banking officer; Oliver Zink, named banking officer; and Timothy Bruculere promoted to assistant vice president.

Debra SuDock has joined Harter, Secrest & Emery and has become associated with the firm’s financing, commercial and bankruptcy groups. She previously practiced with the Manhattan firm of Otterbourg, Steindler, Houston & Rosen.

Hatch-Leonard/Markin-Shaw Inc. announces the following promotions: Tanya Perhach, Carolyn Powers and Nunzia Silivestro have been promoted to customer service agents in the personal lines department. In addition, Tina Browning joins that department as a customer service assistant.

Timothy McNelly has been appointed vice president and Patrice Quirk assistant vice president at Johnson & Higgins. McNelly joined the firm in 1992 as an assistant vice president. Quirk joined in 1993 as an account executive.

Robert Swidler has become a partner in the law firm of Hiscock & Barclay LLP. Swidler will concentrate in and expand the firm’s presence in the Albany area.

Krishna Persaud M.D. has joined the medical practice of Williamson Medical P.C. as an internist. He is a native of Toronto.

Joan Delaro has been named director of interior plant-care services at Broccolo Tree & Lawn Care Inc. She will head a new interior plant- care division at Broccolo.

Craig Doran has joined the law firm of Hiscock & Barclay. Doran continues his general practice with a primary concentration in the area of municipal law, real estate and litigation practicing primarily from the Canandaigua office.

The Rochester Downtown Development Corp. has named Robert Lee executive director. Lee has been associated with the RDDC since its formation in 1976.

PSC Inc. has promoted Larry Ramsey- Macomber to the position of product manager. He was previously a technical support engineer for the company’s line of fixed-position bar-code laser scanners.

David Weber has been named vice president of sales and marketing and John Statt CNE sales engineer at PicturePhone Direct Inc. They will be engaged in providing desktop videoconferencing solutions on a national level.

Graham Huckell M.D., an orthopedic surgeon, has joined the medical staff at Myers Community Hospital in Sodus. Huckell has more than 12 years’ experience in orthopedics.

Mercury Print Productions Inc. has named Steven Gesinger as an account executive. He brings with him more than 16 years of experience selling multicolor work.

RMA/Kolko Corp. has promoted Barbara Hunt to vice president. Hunt has been with the company for two- and-a-half years and held such positions as customer service manager and director of sales.

Jeffrey Mead has joined JAM Inc. as director of the digital services bureau and video services. Mead has more than 17 years of video production experience.

Twelve Corners Tax Service has named John Chapman and Maxine Morse tax preparation specialists. Chapman was formerly a programmer/analyst at the Center for Visual Science, University of Rochester. Morse was employed at L.N. Knapp Inc. where she worked in tax preparation and accounting.

Eric Mower and Associates Inc. has appointed Susan Ratel direct-marketing account executive. Ratel will work on the agency’s Marine Midland Bank account, as well as several other accounts.

Eastman Kodak Co. has announced that Leonard Redon will serve as the new general manager and vice president for the Customer Equipment Services Division when Ronald Schroder retires on July 1. The transition begins immediately.

Gary Pratt has been hired by National Ambulance and Home Care Services as transportation manager. Pratt was previously operations manager for the Rochester branch of Federal Express Corp.

Ferronics Inc. has promoted Tim Reeder to vice president, customer services. Reeder joined Ferronics in 1987, and was most recently manager of field sales.

Laurie Bennett has been named director of marketing, publishing business unit, at Logical Operations. She previously served as manager, corporate marketing, for Met-scan Inc.

James Sechrist has been promoted to network services division manager for Business Methods Inc. Sechrist joined BMI in 1990 as facsimile sales representative.

Flightline Electronics Inc. has promoted Mike Reifsteck to controller. He joined Flightline in 1993 as manager of cost accounting and pricing.

Donald Banzhaf M.D. has joined Park Ridge Mental Health Center’s Jay Street site as a staff psychiatrist. He was previously associated with the Rochester Mental Health Center and Genesee Mental Health Center.

Navitar Inc. has appointed Mark Smith to vice president of sales and marketing and Doreen Geary CPA as controller.

Attorneys Jordan Pappas and Laurence Pappas have formed the partnership of Pappas and Pappas, Attorneys at Law. Jordan Pappas has been practicing law in Rochester for 40 years and Laurence Pappas was a foreign associate with the Tokyo law firm of Sato & Tsuda.

ICS/Executone Telecom Inc. has appointed Bert Riley director of MIS. He was previously with Pacific Bell in Berkeley, Calif.

Northeast Video has appointed Gerald Pearsen as its marketing director. He will be responsible for all production planning, writing and sales.

Chubb Group of Insurance Cos has named Dean Miller customer service division manager for both the Rochester and Buffalo offices.

Spencerport Central School District has named Eileen Magin dean of the 1995 Parent University. Magin has been coordinator of volunteers for the district since 1990. The SPU will take place on April 1.

Timothy Bancroft of Fairport has been named vice president of finance at Ogden Telephone Co. He joined Ogden Telephone in 1993.
