Frank Insero and Timothy McLaughlin, partners, and Sharon Glaza, principal, have announced the formation of their CPA firm Insero & McLaughlin. The firm performs audit, tax and business consulting services for closely held businesses and individual clients.
Stephen Gray has been hired by the Raytec Group to the newly created position of systems administrator. He previously worked for Parlec Inc. as an I.S. manager.
Key Bank of New York has appointed Donna Kawczynski to banking officer. She joined the bank in 1984 as a banking assistant.
Visual In-Seitz Inc. has hired David Feinberg as part of the company’s ongoing total quality improvement process and has promoted Jon Vandermeer to assistant producer. Feinberg will be analyzing internal procedures to improve time management, cost efficiencies and other operational systems, and Vandermeer will work with both internal and external customers to develop audiovisual business presentations.
Fairport Savings and Loan Association has named Scott Erdeli assistant vice president, Jane Van Alstyne assistant vice president and Kandy Baker assistant secretary.
WKLX-FM 98.9 has appointed Mike Tanner to account executive. Tanner joins WKLX after serving as a professional medical representative for Lederle Laboratories.
F.F. Thompson Health System Inc. has named Carol Dwyer R.N., MSN, M.M. vice president of nursing and patient services. Dwyer was most recently vice president of nursing at Clifton Springs Hospital & Clinic.
Key Bank of New York has promoted Lori Strassner-Jones to vice president. She joined the bank in 1993 as an assistant vice president.
Citibank (New York State) has appointed Charles Fiandach to the position of vice president and manager of the Rochester business and professional lending department. Previously, he was vice president and manager of the Business Banking Group at Chase Manhattan Bank.
Gary Westman has been appointed vice president of business development at Karpus Investment Management. He was formerly a client development officer with Howe & Rusling.
Curtiss Quirin has been appointed manager, European sales, for AC Delco Systems Division of General Motors Corp. Quirin transferred from AC Rochester to its headquarters in Flint, Mich., in 1993.
General Signal Corp. has appointed Terence Martin executive vice president and chief financial officer replacing Stephen Nagy who is leaving the firm to pursue other opportunities. Martin comes to General Signal from American Cyanamid Co.
MHW Advertising and Public Relations has appointed Scott Orr account executive. Before joining MHW, Orr was an account manager at Wolff Associates.
Bergmann Associates has named Peter Ottavio P.E. associate. He has been with the firm since 1987 and has 22 years of experience.
Riedman Corp. has promoted Terry Potts and David Cooper to assistant vice presidents and named Tim Jansen regional manager for the Syracuse, Albany and Rome areas. Potts joined the firm in 1985 and serves as senior account executive. Cooper joined Riedman in 1988 and is the bond manager. Jansen is a graduate of Siena College.
Business Methods Inc. has promoted Craig Thorpe to copy products region manager for the Rochester office and Charlie Gardner to presentation systems division manager. Thorpe joined BMI in 1993 and Gardner in 1977.
Robert Bonn has been appointed director of Life Line, a program of the Health Association. Bonn’s previous professional positions include ones with the Urban League and the Rochester Interfaith Jail Ministry.
First National Bank of Rochester has promoted Glenn Wolfe to loan review officer and Jay Smith to assistant vice president and manager of the Four Corners office.
Dr. Dennis Brown has been appointed Clarkson University’s 15th president. Brown has been provost and senior vice president for academic affairs at Drexel University since 1990.
Centra Financial Group Inc. has named Randell Ogden as an associate. Prior to joining Centra, Ogden was with the Prudential for five years as a financial advisor.
The Arc of Monroe County has promot-ed Fran Fletcher and Diane Mahon to public relations specialists. Both have been with the Arc since 1993, Fletcher in the administration department and Mahon in the development office.
Robert Schwartz has joined Laboratory Products Sales Inc. as regional manager in charge of sales and marketing in the Western New York area. He brings with him 10 years of sales and marketing experience in the biomedical laboratory industry.
Creative Concepts of WNY Ltd. has named Jim Bisco as senior copywriter and Richmond Hubbard as account services manager. Bisco has over 20 years of writing experience and Hubbard has an extensive background in sales and marketing.

Rochester Community Savings Bank has appointed William Nicholson to branch officer and manager of the Newark branch. Nicholson has been manager since 1982 of the Columbia Banking office that was acquired by RCSB in June 1994.
Century Mold Co. Inc. has appointed Joseph Czop as an account executive. Czop has more than 17 years’ experience in purchasing and sales in both the automotive and plastics industries.
Bausch & Lomb Inc. has named Ann Willmoth vice president-sales for its eyewear division. Willmoth joined B&L in 1981 and was most recently director-national field sales for the personal products division.
