Glenn Taylor has been named a registered marketing representative with John Hancock Financial Services. Taylor previously held a variety of sales and marketing positions at Eastman Kodak Co. for over 25 years.
Jones Alfred State College has appointed Tim Jones as the college’s first-ever full-time sports information director. Jones comes to Alfred State from the Chronicle-Express, a weekly newspaper in Penn Yan, where he was editor.
WMAX-106.7 has appointed Jennifer Vanderslice to the position of music director and midday on-air personality. Vanderslice comes to WMAX from the local non-commercial radio station, WBER.
The Lexington Avenue Federal Credit Union welcomes Joanne Knapp as member service representative. She brings to the position 24 years of banking experience and was most recently employed by Manufacturers and Traders Trust Co. as a senior banking services representative.

The Hospital Consortium of Greater Rochester has promoted Robert Fox to executive vice president. Fox joined the consortium’s predecessor, the Rochester Area Hospitals Corp., in 1990 as assistant vice president of finance.
