Beard PNC Mortgage has made Daniel Beard loan officer for the company. Beard has been a residential loan officer for two years.
Glenn Taylor has been named a registered marketing representative with John Hancock Financial Services. Taylor previously held a variety of sales and marketing positions at Eastman Kodak Co. for over 25 years.
Jones Alfred State College has appointed Tim Jones as the college’s first-ever full-time sports information director. Jones comes to Alfred State from the Chronicle-Express, a weekly newspaper in Penn Yan, where he was editor.
WMAX-106.7 has appointed Jennifer Vanderslice to the position of music director and midday on-air personality. Vanderslice comes to WMAX from the local non-commercial radio station, WBER.
The Lexington Avenue Federal Credit Union welcomes Joanne Knapp as member service representative. She brings to the position 24 years of banking experience and was most recently employed by Manufacturers and Traders Trust Co. as a senior banking services representative.
Frontier Corp. has elected Joseph Enis corporate treasurer. Frontier Corp. also announces several other senior-level organization changes, realigning its leadership team: James Dole, promoted to the position of vice president-business development, directing the acquisition and development functions; Lisa Nadeau, promoted to the position of director-business development, supporting the firm’s acquisitions and strategic developments; James Whelehan, named chief executive officer, wireless business group; and Donna Reeves, promoted to the position of president and chief operating officer of the joint cellular venture with Nynex in New York State, temporarily known as Upstate Cellular Network.
Vincent Tripi has been named vice president of financing and administration of Magellan Inc. Magellan is a real estate company providing exclusive services to those building a new home.
Curtice Burns Foods, recently acquired by Pro-Fac Cooperative, has announced three corporate promotions: Stephen Wright, senior vice president of procurement; William DiPaulo, corporate network manager; and Peggy Macdonald, administrative assistant to the president.
Alan Brant, has been elected president of RDA Container Corp. Brant was previously a vice president with the company.

Scott Schabel M.D. has been named medical director of Hill Haven Nursing Home. Schabel joined the staff of Hill Haven in 1993, and is also an attending physician in the Rochester General Hospital geriatric unit.
OfficeTeam has announced that Betsy Guyan and Tracy Stockton have been hired as staffing managers.
The Hospital Consortium of Greater Rochester has promoted Robert Fox to executive vice president. Fox joined the consortium’s predecessor, the Rochester Area Hospitals Corp., in 1990 as assistant vice president of finance.
Presbyterian Residence Center Corp. has appointed Andi Devries as director of the Personal Care Services home-care agency, and Jackie Cook as manager of the Senior Class adult social day care.
Rochester Community Individual Practice Association has hired two part- time medical directors to guide strategy and policy development: Thomas McInerny M.D. , a pediatrician in private practice in Rochester, and Jules Zysman M.D., a family physician in private practice in Honeoye Falls.
Paula Dolan has been named senior vice president of administration at Rochester Community Savings Bank. She is responsible for human resources, management information systems, bank operations, facilities and audit.
Phillips, Lytle, Hitchcock, Blaine & Huber has added Glenn Leonardi as an associate in the Rochester office. He will practice in the firm’s corporate department.
Arnie Mori has joined Goodwin, Bartlett & Greaves- Tunnell Capital Management. Mori brings 30 years of investment expertise to the firm, having recently managed over $350 million in client assets for Chase Manhattan Corp.
Newark-Wayne Community Hospital welcomes the following new medical staff members: Jerry Titel M.D., anesthesiologist, joins the anesthesia department; Dan Nowak R.N., M.S. is assistant vice president for critical care in nursing; and John Steele Ph.D., clinical psychologist, joins the hospital on a consulting basis.
Nixon, Hargrave, Devans & Doyle has announced the following staff changes: John Partigan and Richard Yarmel have been named partners with the firm, and Bruce Baker and Marcia Watt have been named counsel to the firm. Partigan is a member of the Upstate Business and Technology and Intellectual Property Practice groups; Yarmel is a member of the Health Services Practice Group; Baker practices in the area of banking; and Watt is a member of the Upstate General Business Group.
Bausch & Lomb Inc. has named Stephen Osbaldeston as vice president of sales and marketing for its contact lens division. He joined B&L in 1986 as a group marketing manager for contact lenses and professional services for Bausch & Lomb Canada Inc.
