Rochester Women's Network plans conference Tuesday

The Rochester Women’s Network on Tuesday presents the 2013 Summit Business Conference:  Empowering Professional Growth.

The conference features speakers in interactive, facilitated breakout sessions, as well as the Annual Luncheon to honor RWN’s 2013 Up & Coming Businesswomen. Naomi Silver, the president, CEO and chief operating officer of Rochester Community Baseball Inc., is keynote speaker.

The event kicks off at 8 a.m. at Rochester Plaza Hotel and Conference Center.

2013 Up & Coming Businesswomen recognize successful women who have been in their careers less than 10 years or owned and run their own business for fewer than 10 years. Award recipients are:

• Debbie Bernacki, Happier at Home LLC;
• Elizabeth Dell, Rochester Institute of Technology;
• Dresden Engle, Dresden Public Relations Inc.;
• Rebecca Priest, St. John's Senior Services Inc.; and
• Leah Shearer, Melissa’s Living Legacy Teen Cancer Foundation.

Tickets are $120 for non-members for the full-day event and $65 for lunch only. Register at
