Kodak, Xerox printers land in Top 5 in EquiTrend survey

Eastman Kodak Co. and Xerox Corp. received high marks in a new survey by Harris Interactive Inc.

The companies ranked Nos. 3 and 5, respectively, among the top five printer brands ranked above category average in the 2013 Harris Poll EquiTrend study.

Hewlett Packard Co. and Canon Inc. came in first and second, while Samsung Electronics Co. ranked fourth.

The study measures the perceptions of more than 38,500 American consumers on more than 1,500 lifestyle, product and service brands across more than 155 categories.

Apple Inc. held the top spot as a technology company across three categories, taking home brand of the year in the computer, tablet and mobile phone category.
