DiMarco Constructors LLC has finalized the renovation of a 7,500-square-foot downtown detail office for the Rochester Police Department.
The office, located in the Sibley Building on North Clinton Avenue, is part of the Sibley Redevelopment Project led by WinnCompanies Inc.
The project, which started in May, brings one crime prevention officer, 32 patrol officers, six supervisors and one administrative staff member to the city center during hours when downtown businesses are most active.
The RPD office is part of the overall Sibley development, which also will feature a day-care center and office space. DiMarco is also the general contractor on the construction of the day-care facility.
“The Sibley Building is a piece of history in downtown Rochester,” said Anthony Soprano, vice president of estimating and pre-construction services for DiMarco Constructors, in a statement. “DiMarco Constructors is honored to have the opportunity to help redevelop this landmark and bring vital services to the heart of downtown Rochester.”
