Document Security Systems moves group to expanded HQ

Rochester Business Journal
December 5, 2012

Document Security Systems Inc. has expanded its headquarters in Rochester.

Up until recently, DSS occupied roughly one-third of the 15th floor in the First Federal Plaza at 28 E. Main St. Robert Bzdick, acting CEO of DSS, said the company has signed a new lease that will have it occupying the entire floor.

The plan coincides with DSS moving its digital group out of its office at 3445 Winton Pl. The digital group will now be based in the headquarters on Main Street.

Bzdick said the move was necessary to accommodate the growth of DSS’ digital group, which he said has doubled in size since May 2011.

The company currently has 105 employees spread across four offices, including its headquarters. The company also has a printing group in Rochester, a packaging group in Victor and a plastics group in Brisbane, Calif.
