Veterans business council event takes place Oct. 30

The annual Rochester Business Expo, Matchmaker and Veterans Awards Luncheon is slated to be held 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Oct. 30 at the Rochester Plaza Hotel and Conference Center. 

The expo is open to the public and is a tradeshow-style event allowing local businesses to showcase products and services. The registration fee for exhibitors is $250.
 
The small-business matchmaker allows representatives from small businesses to meet one on one with buyers from government agencies or contractors. Registration for the matchmaker is required and costs $45, with lunch included.
 
The annual veterans’ awards luncheon begins at 12:15 p.m. and is a celebration of military veterans in the community. The cost to attend the luncheon only is $35.

The Expo, Matchmaker and Awards luncheon is expected to draw more than 400 participants.  For more information or to register, visit www.veteransbusinesscouncil.org.
