The Rochester Business Alliance and KPMG LLP seek nominations for its 27th annual Rochester Top 100, which honors Rochester’s fastest-growing privately held businesses.

To be eligible for the Rochester Top 100, companies must be privately held, have its headquarters in the nine-county Rochester region and have at least $1 million in annual revenues for each of three most recent fiscal years.

“The Top 100 gives privately held companies a chance to publicly celebrate their success and show that the Rochester region is a great place to do business,” said Sandra Parker, president and CEO of Rochester Business Alliance. “We are pleased to bring this opportunity to both Rochester Business Alliance members and nonmembers.”

Direct marketing company 5Linx Enterprises Inc. took the top spot on the 2012 Rochester Top 100. The No. 1 company on the 2011 list, Manning & Napier Advisors Inc., went public.
