Saladworks looks to expand into Rochester

Rochester Business Journal
February 1, 2013

Pennsylvania-based restaurant chain Saladworks LLC has named Rochester as one of the cities it plans to move into in 2013.

The company has more than 100 restaurants in 12 states, featuring made-to-order salads, sandwiches, soups and wraps. Last year, Entrepreneur magazine named Saladworks the country’s top salad-franchise for the fourth consecutive year.

Last month, the company announced it had 15 percent revenue growth in 2012. Saladworks said it signed more than 50 new franchise agreements in 2012 with plans to continue that growth in 2013.

The company listed several cities that can expect Saladworks restaurants to open soon, including Rochester; Dallas; Greensboro N.C.; Louisville, Ky.; and Nashville, Tenn.

The company did not provide more information on the location of a potential Saladworks in Rochester or when it would arrive, only that it was coming soon.
