'Ghost Hunters' episode explores Rochester

They SyFy Channel’s popular show “Ghost Hunters,” where a team of paranormal experts explore places that may be haunted, will feature Rochester on Nov. 28.

In August, members of the crew explored the Central Library of Rochester and Monroe County and the subway tunnels that run underneath. Supposedly, security cameras at the library have caught ghostlike activity, such as doors mysteriously opening and closing on their own, on tape.

“Due Date With Death,” the episode featuring the library, is set to air at 9 p.m. and 11 p.m.

It is not the first time the show has been to Rochester. The crew examined the spookiness of the Main Street Armory during an episode that aired last year, during its seventh season.

SyFy airs on Channel 59 on Time Warner Cable; 1072 in high definition.
