Rochester Business Journal
July 2, 2014

A Massachusetts-based real estate management firm is shutting down offices in Upstate New York, with eight workers at offices in Perinton among 28 jobs to be eliminated.

Reit Management & Research LLC will close its doors at the end of September because of a loss of business, a Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification filed Monday with the state Department of Labor states.

The 17 employees at the firm’s Syracuse office will be out of work, the filing states. In addition, three workers at 295 Woodcliff Drive, three at 1000 Pittsford-Victor Road and two at 171 Sully’s Trail—all in Perinton—will lose their jobs.

Two workers in East Syracuse and one in Buffalo also will be affected, the filing states.
