Nazareth College of Rochester has named a longtime faculty member and interim dean of its School of Education into the dean’s position permanently.

Craig Hill, who has serving as interim dean since last year, will lead the school on a permanent basis, Nazareth said Wednesday. Hill has served on the faculty there for more than 30 years and has also serve as chairman of college’s adolescence and education programs, director of the inclusive education program and supervisor of the former Graduate Learning Clinic.

Hill is a board member of the New York Association of Colleges for Teacher Education, and has been a member of the New York State Higher Education Task Force on Quality Inclusive Schooling.
