Rochester Business Journal
September 10, 2013

Adecco Group will be closing its facility in Gates, leaving 75 employees out of work.

The staffing services company filed a notice with the state Department of Labor on Tuesday, stating it will be closing the facility for economic reasons.

The layoff date will begin on Dec. 9 and occur in waves lasting through Feb. 1.

Adecco S.A., which is based in Switzerland, has seen its revenue decline in the first half of the year.

Adecco had ranked No. 1 among employee placement firms on a 2005 list published the Rochester Business Journal.
