The Eastman Business Park—including federal concerns about the ability of a recently announced trust fund to pay for environmental cleanups—is expected to be discussed Wednesday by the Finger Lakes Regional Economic Development Council.

The two-hour meeting is slated for 3 p.m. at the Wegmans Conference Center at 200 Wegmans Market St., Chili.

Changes in the council’s membership, a presentation by the New York Works task force, and a review and update of third-round funding guidelines for the state’s regional economic development councils also are on the agenda, officials said Tuesday.

The Finger Lakes council is led by University of Rochester president Joel Seligman and Wegmans Food Markets Inc. CEO Danny Wegman. The region includes Monroe, Genesee, Livingston, Ontario, Orleans, Wayne, Seneca, Wyoming and Yates counties.
