Jazz Fest updates iPhone app, unveils Android app

The Xerox Rochester International Jazz Festival has released a new mobile application for Android, as well as an updated app for the iPhone.

The free apps give fans of the festival access to news, artist information, schedules, maps, photos, venue information and tickets. The apps also feature a downloadable photo booth feature where fans can take and share photos from the festival.

The iPhone app is available for download at the iTunes store. The Android app can be downloaded at www.GooglePlay.com.

The 2013 Jazz Festival kicks off June 21 and run through June 29. This year’s performers include Peter Frampton, Sharon Jones & The Dap Kings, and New Orleans jazz legend Trombone Shorty.
