Lewis Tree Services wins industry honor

The Tree Care Industry Association has presented Lewis Tree Service Inc. with a 2012 Professional Communications Award, honoring marketing and communication excellence within the tree care industry.

Lewis is an employee-owned company in Henrietta that helps utilities and local governments manage vegetation. The company operates in more than 25 states and Canada, with nearly 4,000 employees.

Lewis received the Professional Communications Award in the Newsletter/brochure category for its employee newsletter, “The Cutting Edge.” The newsletter, which was introduced 20 years ago, is an electronic and print publication distributed to Lewis’ employees and customers.
