Big Lots Inc. is getting bigger. The company is ready to open its newest store in Ontario, Wayne County.

The company plans to hold its grand opening of a 26,000-square-foot location in the Ontario Shopping Center on Route 104 at 9 a.m. Nov. 16.

The company currently lists nine stores in the Rochester region: Brockport; Canandaigua, Ontario County; Dansville, Livingston County; East Rochester; Gates; Geneva, Ontario County; Greece; Henrietta; and Irondequoit.

“We are thrilled to now be able to offer that same great value and convenience to Ontario shoppers,” said Rob Claxton, senior vice president of marketing for Big Lots, in a statement. “We are confident this new store will prove to be a big hit with smart shoppers who are seeking better deals and bigger savings to combat the increasing costs of everyday living.”
