Next Step Education Group announces the following additions to its staff: Bill Wood, lead developer; Laura Sestito, editorial and production coordinator; and Annemarie Maurer, administrative assistant.
Harter Secrest & Emery LLP announces that Joe Doyle and Amanda Dwyer have joined the firm's corporate practice group. Doyle will advise public and private companies, as well as private equity funds, while Dwyer will practice in the areas of securities, corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions and general business and corporate matters.

He will be responsible for payroll, purchasing materials and assigning staff for all job sites, as well as coordinating trucking schedules and managing billing.
The YMCA of Greater Rochester has appointed Fernan Cepero as chief human resources officer. Ryan McLean has been named senior health and wellness director, and Meghan Angel has been named aquatics director.
Judith Albers has been appointed to the Charles L. "Bud" VanArsdale endowed chair for entrepreneurship at SUNY College at Geneseo.
Literacy Volunteers of Rochester has added Philip Gigliotti to head the literacy navigator program and Susan Kramarsky as director of development.
Lakeview Mental Health announces the addition of Carie Gardner as an Ontario County care manager and Sophia Palmer and Kelsey Pudney as rehabilitation counselors.
The Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra announces the appointment of Katie Sejba as vice president of marketing and communications. Sejba will develop strategy for and manage the orchestra's annual subscription and single-ticket campaigns and oversee the organization's broader strategies in media relations.
Susan Maney has been named executive director of Cornell Cooperative Extension of Monroe County. She previously was CEO of the Corning YMCA.
Michael Stoner M.D. has been named chief of vascular surgery at the University of Rochester Medical Center. He specializes in complex open and endovascular surgery.
