Rochester Business Journal
March 17, 2014

New-car sales in Monroe County jumped in in February, the Rochester Automobile Dealers’ Association Inc. reported.

Area dealers sold 3,273 new vehicles last month, up more than 8 percent from 3,025 a year ago, and up nearly 20 percent from 2,731 in January.

RADA historical data shows that new-car sales typically improve from January to February. In the last several years Monroe County has experienced an upward trend in vehicle sales from year to year.

Used-car sales data is no longer be available as RADA has noted figures the organization receives from dealers is voluntary and does not include independent used-vehicle sales numbers in Monroe County, a major component of the used-vehicle market.
