More than 30 young business owners in Rochester will be set up with information tables at the Rochester Young Professionals Entrepreneur Expo Oct. 24.
The third annual event also will include a panel discussion by seasoned veterans, including Denny DeLeo, a founder and general partner of Trillium Group and founder and president of the Venture Jobs Foundation; Paul Cypher, the founder of CypherWorks Inc.; and Dennis Kessler, co-owner of Kessler Restaurants LLC and the Ackley Clinical Professor of Entrepreneurship at the University of Rochester’s Simon Business School.
Several hundred people are expected to attend, says Nathaniel Bank, RYP president.
“The expo has quickly become a signature event for RYP, and we feel that this year we are taking it to the next level,” he said. “Between the broad spectrum of businesses presenting, and the depth of knowledge and experience of those participating in our panel discussion, we are extremely excited that there will be takeaways for everyone who attends.”
The expo will be held at the Memorial Art Gallery from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. It is free and open to the public.
