Vette Thermal Solutions in Ontario to shutter plant

Rochester Business Journal
February 20, 2013

Vette Thermal Solutions LLC is closing its Ontario, Wayne County plant in March, citing economic conditions as the reason for the closure.

The company will begin terminating its 84 jobs March 15 and is to close March 31, a filing with the state Department of Labor shows.

The firm is a cooling systems and product manufacturer. It was acquired last year by Chicago-based Heico Companies LLC.

At the time, Heico said it would close the local operation and merge it with another similar company Heico had also acquired in New Hampshire.
