Mascia Development completes $2M renovation

Mascia Development LLC said Monday its $2 million-plus investment to renovate housing for Finger Lakes Community College students is completed, and nearly 100 percent occupied.

Mascia Development announced the more than $3 million purchase of the former Heritage Hall property in June. The New York City-based firm has a Rochester office.

The real estate development firm said Campus Gate at Finger Lakes gives students an affordable and convenient off-campus housing option. Its single, double and triple suites range from $549 to $699 a month.

“Based on how quickly our suites have been leased, it hasn’t taken long for FLCC students and their parents to realize Campus Gate’s tremendous value and convenience compared to other housing options in the area,” said Mark Mascia, president and CEO, in a statement.
