Forum to look at nanotechnology in upstate

The impact of nanotechnology on growth in Upstate New York is the focus of Wednesday’s Upstate Venture Association of New York Inc. forum in Canandaigua.

The event begins with networking at 5 p.m. at the Smart System Technology & Commercialization Center on Campus Drive, off Route 332. The program begins at 6 p.m.

Richard Honen, a partner at forum sponsor Phillips Lytle LLP, is to moderate the panel discussion. The panelists are:

  • Merideth Bahr-Andreucci, director of industry development, Empire State Development Corp.;
  • Felix Ejeckam, co-founder and CEO, Group4 Labs Inc.;
  • Reid Hutchins, senior vice president, Advantage Capital Partners; and
  • Paul Tolley, director, Smart System Technology and Commercialization Center.
