Cabot Group hired to handle leasing at Seneca Building

The Cabot Group has been contracted by the Pike Development Co. to act as the leasing agent for 30,000 square feet of Class A office space on the top floor of the Seneca Building downtown at the former Midtown site.

“As a diversified commercial real estate advisory and services firm born in this city, it is always a goal of ours  to do everything within our grasp to enable upward growth, economic development and overall prosperity within our community,” said Michael Smith, chairman and CEO of the Cabot Group, in a statement. “We understand how important a revitalized Midtown is to the growth of our city, and we look forward to playing a role in that revitalization.”

The Pittsford-based Cabot Group is charged with attracting local businesses such as law firms, marketing firms, engineering firms and accounting firms to lease the space on the third floor.

Windstream Corp. plans to house upward of 335 employees on the Seneca Building’s first two floors. Windstream is slated to take occupancy July 1. The office space is available for lease.
