Rochester beauty salon owner Ines Antonetti-Ferrer has been named Hispanic Business Person of the Year by the Rochester Hispanic Business Association, officials said Monday.

Antonetti-Ferrer owns Ines’ Casa de Hair on North Goodman Street, and is its lead stylist.

“Ines is a pioneer Hispanic business owner and one who has established and maintained her business in the city of Rochester,” RHBA Chair Grace Tillinghast said in a statement.

Antonetti-Ferrer is the fourth woman to be named business person of the year in the 24-year history of the RHBA. The others are Flor Colon in 1997, Tillinghast in 2003 and Jackie Ortiz in 2009.

Antonetti-Ferrer will receive her award Sept. 24 at the Rochester Riverside Convention Center during the annual RHBA luncheon.
