Frontier extends, amends agreement with CEO

Rochester Business Journal
March 14, 2013

Frontier Communications Corp. has entered into an amended agreement with Maggie Wilderotter, its CEO and chairman.

The agreement extends Wilderotter’s term as CEO for another two years, beginning March 8. The agreement can then be renewed mutually by Wilderotter and the company for one-year terms, a filing with Securities and Exchange Commission last week states.

Wilderotter also has received an additional $25,000 on her annual base salary, which was $1 million. Wilderotter’s target annual bonus opportunity increased from 135 percent to 150 percent provided she remain chairman during the term outlined in the agreement.

Wilderotter joined Frontier when it was Citizen Communications in 2004 and became the company’s chairman in 2006. Prior to that, she worked as an executive for companies like AT&T Wireless Inc. and Microsoft Corp.
