Skooba Design named to Internet Retailer list

Skooba Design, a Chili-based company specializing in the design and manufacture of carrying cases for laptops and other tech gear, has been  named to Internet Retailer magazine’s “Hot 100” retailers list.

Internet Retailer is the largest monthly magazine focused on the e-retailing industry. Its list is based on website performance and reviews of usability, appearance, and customer friendliness, among other factors.

Skooba Design’s website was recognized for its simplicity, ease of use, video content and features designed for international customers. The list also recognized retail heavyweights such as Best Buy Co. Inc., Apple Inc. and Reebok International Ltd.

“It’s even more meaningful because we’re a small, private business being recognized at the same level as the biggest and best, household-name companies, on a list of just 100 out of many hundreds of thousands of e-commerce sites,” said Michael Hess, CEO of Skooba, in a statement.
