ESL Federal Credit Union marked the opening of its 20th branch on Thursday. The new location is on Monroe Avenue at Twelve Corners in Brighton.
“As ESL continues to grow, we’re always looking to provide our current and prospective members with the best service possible," said David Fiedler, ESL CEO. "Our new branch at Twelve Corners provides more convenient access to our personal banking, business banking and wealth management customers.”
The 4,400-square-foot facility features four teller windows, three member service representative offices, safety deposit boxes, commercial night drop box an ATM inside and one drive-up ATM, ESL officials noted. Kris Prince serves as branch manager and has a staff of nine, including a financial consultant for ESL Investment Services LLC.
ESL was No. 1 on the Rochester Business Journal’s most recent list of credit unions, ranked by total assets.
Founded by George Eastman in 1920, ESL Federal Credit Union has $4.8 billion in assets. It employs more than 660 people locally and has some 319,000 members worldwide.
At the opening event, ESL presented Jewish Senior Life with a check for $1,000, which bank officials said was meant as a show of support for the Brighton community.
