Bonadio & Co. LLP ranks 50th, up six spots from last year, and Freed Maxick CPAs PC rose three spots to 77th on the 2014 list of the nation’s largest CPA firms, published by trade magazine Inside Public Accounting in its August edition.

Bonadio expects net revenue of $68.3 million this year, an 8 percent increase over 2013, the magazine reports. Freed Maxick expects net revenue of $41.7 million, up nearly 8 percent.

The list ranks the firms based on U.S. net income.

Based in Perinton and with 92 CPAs locally, Bonadio is the largest CPA firm in the Rochester market. Freed Maxick, based in Buffalo, ranks 11th on the Rochester Business Journal’s most recent list with 19 local CPAs.

“We are also proud that this is exclusively organic growth, attributable to the national and international businesses that recognize our ability to serve their unique needs,” Freed Maxick managing director Ronald Soluri Sr. said in statement Monday.
