Rochester Business Journal
August 8, 2014

Eastview Mall will add Tumi—a travel, business and lifestyle accessories retailer—to its offerings starting this fall.

It will be the first location in Upstate New York for Tumi Holdings Inc., which has its headquarters in South Plainfield, N.J. The store will be 1,100 square feet in the mall’s Von Maur wing.

The mail is owned by Wilmorite Properties Inc.

Tumi has a global network of some 130 company-owned locations.

On Thursday, Tumi increased its store openings estimate and now expects to open 20 to 25 stores this year. The brand is sold in more than 260 stores from New York City to Tokyo, as well as in department, specialty and travel retail stores in more than 75 countries.

The company reported net sales increased 10.5 percent to $233.2 million during the first six months of 2014.
