Dorschel Automotive Group has been awarded one of two Alfa Romeo franchises statewide.
Owned by Fiat, Alfa Romeo has not offered franchises in the U.S. in nearly two decades. The company will debut its 2015 4C sports car here in August. The vehicle will have a manufacturer’s suggested retail price of $55,000 to $68,000.
“We are pleased to announce our partnership with the Dorschel Automotive Group and the introduction of Alfa Romeo to Rochester,” said George Neubauer, network area manager for Chrysler Group, in a statement. “The Dorschel Group’s extensive history in the Rochester market, along with their commitment to customer care and satisfaction, and their ‘Clear Simple Different’ approach to selling automobiles lead us to believe they will represent the high performance Alfa Romeo brand with the retail excellence it deserves.”
Dorschel represents Nissan, Toyota, Volkswagen, Lexus, Infiniti, Mini, Kia and Maserati. The company has roughly 475 employees and annually sells nearly 9,000 vehicles. The dealership ranked second on the most recent RBJ List of Auto Dealers.
