The Cabot Group has been selected to represent the real estate subsidiary of the Max and Marian Farash Charitable Foundation in the sale of seven Rochester-area apartment communities, the Pittsford firm said Tuesday.

The apartment communities, totaling 333 units, are throughout Greece, Hilton Irondequoit and Rochester. They are being offered separately or as a portfolio.

“This is an exciting opportunity for potential buyers looking to invest in the Rochester community,” said Michael Smith, Cabot Group chairman and CEO, in a statement.

The sale of these Rochester-area properties is part of an overall strategy by the Farash Foundation to diversify its investments.

Offers are due by 5 p.m. on June 14.  Interested investors are required to register for more information at www.thecabotgroup.com/farash7.
