B&L unveils new intraocular lens in Europe

Rochester Business Journal
May 3, 2013

Bausch & Lomb Inc. this week announced the launch in Europe of the Incise microincision intraocular lens used in cataract and other eye surgeries.

The lens received CE Mark approval in the European Union, and is not approved for sale in the United States, officials said. The enhanced acrylic lens allows surgeons to perform microincision cataract surgery less than 2mm, delivering less invasive surgery for a more rapid visual recovery.
