Constellation Brands Inc. CEO Robert Sands is slated to discuss his company’s strategic bets on foreign markets at the International Business Council’s trade expo in June.

He is among other key experts who will discuss their views on doing business abroad at the 2013 IBC Upstate N.Y. Trade and Conference Expo, slated for June 20 at Rochester Institute of Technology.

Other speakers include Stephen Leach, managing director and foreign exchange economist at Citibank N.A. The event will also feature a panel discussion on “Increasing Revenues through Globalization” with Michael Nuccitelli, president and CEO of Parlec Inc.; Richard Rosenbloom, CEO of Ambrell, an Ameritherm Co.; and Michael Zimmer, president of U.S. global document outsourcing at Xerox Corp.

Participants will have the opportunity to attend breakout sessions focused on three tracks— early exporters, seasoned exporters and current trade issues, officials said.

“Whether you are producing batteries, developing renewable energy or offering business services, 90 percent of the potential market is outside the U.S,” said Mark Peterson, president and CEO of Greater Rochester Enterprise Inc., in a statement. “Rochester continues to be ranked as a top exporting region per capita, and we hope that sharing expert advice at events like this helps even more companies expand their business beyond U.S. borders.”
