The Pita Pit in Henrietta advances in competition

Rochester Business Journal
January 25, 2013

The Pita Pit at 1100 Jefferson Road in Henrietta has made it into the final eight of a national competition to earn its customers free pitas.

The Henrietta location, owned by Rochester’s Dave Pennington, has been competing in online vote through the Pita Pit food chain’s Facebook Page: www.facebook.com/pitapitrock.

The competition began Jan. 3 with 64 locations nationwide. Each week half of the field has been eliminated.

Voting to see which locations make it into the final four goes through Jan. 31. The overall winner is to be revealed on Feb. 15 and receive the grand prize of being able to offer free pitas for an entire day to its customers.
