DePaul Community Services to build in West Seneca

August 29, 2014

DePaul Community Services Inc. has closed on the purchase of land in the Buffalo suburbs and will begin work next month on a 100-unit, income-eligible apartment complex, officials announced Friday.

The $20 million project in West Seneca will commence with the demolition of an existing building on Seneca Street. A 102,000-square-foot, three-story structure will go up in its place, officials with the Gates non-profit organization said.

The new building will feature 96 one-bedroom and four two-bedroom units with kitchens and bathrooms.

The apartments will be home to low-income workers and people with a history of mental illness.
