Massachusetts-based Collecto Inc. plans to lease additional space and add 30 employees to its Brighton location.

The debt-collection agency, which does business as EOS CCA, was approved for sales tax exemptions of $12,000 Tuesday by the County of Monroe Industrial Development Agency on equipment and furnishing purchases of $150,000. The projected benefit to the community is $44,652, COMIDA estimates.

EOS CCA employs 128, and plans to consolidate its workforce at 300 Canal View Blvd. after adding 5,000 square feet to its existing 15,000 square feet, representatives said.

Also on Tuesday, COMIDA approved sales tax exemptions of $64,558 for real estate firm Conifer Realty LLC, which plans to move its offices to the Gleason Business Park on University Avenue. The estimated community benefit is $169,847.

Founded in 1975 and headquartered at 183 East Main St., Conifer employs 168 and plans to add four more within two years after the $1.2 million move is completed.

The company owns and manages 13,000 apartments in New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Maryland.

Unither US Corp. was approved for sales tax breaks of $115,600 on build-out costs of nearly $2.9 million as part of its $15.7 million expansion at 755 Jefferson Road in Henrietta. The community benefit is $2.2 million, COMIDA estimates.

The wholly owned U.S. subsidiary of Unither Pharmaceuticals in France plans to build out 6,500 square feet of additional manufacturing space for new product lines.

It employs 262 here and expects to add 22 within three years, representatives said.

Real estate holding company One Mount Hope LLC was approved for breaks of $135,891 for the renovation of a 35,000-square-foot building at the entity address in Rochester. The benefit to the community is estimated at $134,166.

The $4.8 million project will include a new roof, restoration of the parapet, a reconfiguration of the building’s interior and system upgrades.

The building will be leased to Bivona Child Advocacy Center, a provider of services to victims of abuse. It employs 11 and expects to add three jobs over three years.
