Rochester Business Journal
December 26, 2013

A top executive with North Carolina-based EnPro Industries Inc.—parent company of Garlock Sealing Technologies LLC—is retiring.

Richard Magee, senior vice president, will retire Jan. 6, a filing with the Securities & Exchange Commission state.

After that, Magee will serve as a consultant to the company and its subsidiaries. He will work with Garlock in connection with the asbestos claims resolution process that includes the Chapter 11 bankruptcy case filed by Garlock in 2010, the filing states.

Based in Palmyra, Wayne County, Garlock is a deconsolidated subsidiary of EnPro with nearly 600 local employees.
